Grounding issue
I have a issue that hopefully someone will no the answer to. Or maybe just some helpful tips before I take about my 5120.
I have a grounding issue that shows up only sometimes. I'm always using the same cables to the same pedals in the same order to the same amp. Plugged in to the same power bar. The 5120 has TV jones classics installed with the TV jones wiring harness. So all new pots with even a treblebleed installed.
Anyone have an idea where I should start?

Welcome aboard pisser, great to have you here
Check your grounding solder joints on the back of your pots? sounds like something isn't making a good connection somewhere... also check your bigsby ground, as per this thread
Give us a bit more of a thorough description of the problem (noisy when you're not touching strings?) and we should be able to give you a more thorough answer

Noisy just when I'm NOT touch the strings or any part of the guitar that's grounded

Hey Pisser, welcome to Gretsch-Talk!
Is your amp in a grounded socket?

Do you always play theguitar in the same room? If so your noise problems might be due to the external electromagnetic envioronment.

as ampe said, it's not the bigsby ground in that case - it's either going to be a dry solder joint with the grounds somewhere on the back of one of the pots, or it's a problem with your grounding in your house.. can you take the guitar down to a store & test it out there? if it's still humming away, it's something in your wiring.
