firstly apologies for the lack of progress recently the last few months of uni were more intense than i expected so had to concentrate on gettin my work done or there would be no more builds next year! anyway on with the update
first job was to start the chambering of the body first i marked out the area to be chambered and removed the bulk of wood using a 30mm forstner bit
then i routed the rest away completing stage one of the chambering
before routing the pickup cavities complete with recesses for the wiring i also removed some excess under where the bigsby will sit
i also made a wiring harness which saved me a fortune compared to buying one from tv jones fingers crossed everything is in the right place
close up
complete harness placed in body
it needs a bit of tidying up but considering this is the first time ive used a router or done any electrical stuff im pretty pleased with how it looks

Are you putting control covers on the back so you can access the pots/switches? Hopefully this was in the plan...

oh almost forgot i cut out some tester pickup surrounds as well there a bit square but it was more to test the filters would fit snugly as i made them from dimensions on tv jones website i have re-designed them now with the curved edges but have to wait till i go back to uni to cut the new ones
