Default NPD - TV Jones Classics in an LP

Recently got an Agile AL3200 LP that had a TV Jones Classic in the Bridge, and the orig Agile Alnico in the Neck. It sounded good. So, tried/put another TV Jones Classic in the Neck.

BTW, NGD thread here

Here are some quick clips. As always, pardon my playing, I do be trying (and get better little by little).

All were recorded on Egnater Tweaker, Miced with SM57 offcenter on the Celestion G12H-30H. Cleans are with Tweaker set to a Fenderish Clean setting, with TCE HOF Reverb. Cleans with Dyno Brain, are the same but with the Nocturne DynoBrain Engaged. ODs are just the AL3200 and Egnater, except for one which is back on Clean, then Jeckyl and Hyde pedal engaged.

Clean 1
Clean 1 w Dyno Brain

Clean 2 (little more gain on amp)
Clean 2 with DynoBrain

OD1
OD2 with and then without Egnater Bright switch
OD via Jeckyl abd Hyde

Hm...cool idea, mounting TV Jones in a LP.

Have 2 PAF toned LPs, or LP-like gits, and a Modern toned LP. Wanted to go a bit between that and the "Gretsch Tone" of my Gretsches, while keeping the clarity, responsiveness and articulation of the Filter's in the thick Mahogany body of an LP.

Nice demo, I especially like the fact that you used the same lick at the same tempo as it allows the pups to speak for them selves. Too many times a person will review pups or such and change the tune or the stroke and it really colors the sound. Your test was as it should be done . . nice job and your Agile sounds pretty good.

NEW Clips
Same as above, except two were done on the deLisle Amp (EF86 and 12AX7 preamp, 6973 power)
Clean deLisle

Clean single note riffs deLisle
Clean singe nte riffs Egnater
Last one reverses bridge, both then neck on some partial scales.

Yea, I try to do that on mini demos like that, for that reason. LOL, not sure I get the tempo exactly right all the time (hit my first year of playing/learning Guitar in June). But do my best.
