Default Has anyone recorded before and after switching pickups?

To my ears the Gretschbuckers seem a little lifeless. I am wondering if anyone bothered to do recordings and check levels before and after switching pickups so we can hear the changes in the sound of an upgrade?

MC, have you made any adjustments to the poles on the gretschbuckers? I hated them until I got them right. Now, I'd say there very serviceable if not down right likable.
