Look what I found! Vintage pedal content.
I was rummaging through some old boxes I had in storage this evening and, to my amazement, found something I thought had been stolen along with some other vintage pedals lost long ago. The coveted A/DA Flanger!
Plugged it in and tested it and it works perfectly. I bought it in the very early 1980's and have looked at both the vintage and re-issues on ebay, putting it on my "some day I'll get another one" list. I'm thrilled to take it off and place it on my pedal board now.

Ahh, the old trick of putting things in safe places, never to be found again!
I usually unearth my lost treasure when I've bought something new.
Glad it's rematerialised,it looks like fun.

Probably couldn't have found a better pedal. Now if you also had a klon and a few other old goodies it would be like finding treasure.

Thats how I find my guitar tuners and capo's. Buy another, and the original magically appears. I have learned to keep the receipts .

Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what I did with my Sennheiser headphones... and as soon as I start thinking about them, I'm obsessing to find them. And of course, you'll never find them WHILE you're obsessing -- but you'll stub your toe on them, weeks after you forget about them.

I just found my old philanderer pedal, Darin! I never used it. Probably should leave it in the box at this stage of the game. I'm putting away the flanger pedal too...

Nice one Crooner.
I had a very similar experience about five years back, like you, going through a few old boxes I hadn't opened for a long time.
As well as some old mics and leads I unearthed my old 70's Coloursound Wah pedal. Needed a bit of TLC and battery but it worked quite well.
Think I'll stick to the Dunlop CryBaby I bought a couple of years ago, far more sturdy and reliable
