Red Witch Seven Sisters
Anyone know anything about these pedals? Are they digital or analog? Anyone have any luck with them? Problems?

They look digital to me. Anyone with some input?

From their website
"We are a small company from New Zealand, which makes analog guitar effect pedals"

So what about the Red Witch Titan? 3 digital delays in one box, but 'voiced' to sound analog.
My bet is that the delay pedal at least is digital - you would need 3 CoolAudio V3205 chips to get 800ms of delay at reasonable (for analog) bandwidth. The Carbon Copy uses 2 3208 chips (I think) for 600ms, so it would be a stretch to fit the extra circuitry into such a petite enclosure.

I don't know. Don't own any of them. I just took time to look on their site. I would want one regardless of how the delay is produced. Sounds awesome.
Titan is a hybrid says a TGP thread that points to a non-existant article:

There is mention in the forum of the SS Delay being digital too. Maybe ask on the Red Witch forum of no answers here?

Absolutely, the sound and 'feel' are what counts, it's just that there are some less-than-honest descriptions flying around, particularly when it comes to 'analog' delay pedals!

Their designer posts in the forum. Why not ask there? Seems like he would know.

Hello all,
Thanks for all the kind comments - I own Red Witch Analog and also designed all of the pedals, including the Seven Sisters. The two delays we produce (the Titan and the Violet) both have a digital engine in their heart - but all the surrounding circuitry (companding, low pass filter etc ) and dry signal path is analog. All the other products (premium range and Seven Sisters) are 100% analog.
Hope that clears things up.
Coolio!
P.S. Groovy Forum!
Cheerio,
Ben
