A HUGE kudos out to Tavo at Nocturne
I ordered a Dyno Brain from Tavo. I had some hiss issues with it and my rig(s). Can see some of it HERE
First, he noticed some 60Hz hum in the clips I sent him, and then gave me some help and advice on working through that nightmare. Didn't have to, he just did.
But, on the Dyno Brain, he went way above and beyond the call of duty. Not only is he shipping it back, fixing what USPS did to it, after getting it Friday, on an Easter weekend, but he made some mods so that it works better with my rig and crappy arsed home wiring. Who does that anymore? I'll tell you, noone but him.
First class, top notch act, Tavo is.
He also now has a customer for life. Going to start looking at what pedals I can replace on my board with Nocturne pedals now. First, methinks will be a Fuzz

It's that fantastic, old-school, made in America ethic. Who says they don't make 'em like they used to? He does. It still exists if you look for it.

I like hearing things like this. Makes me want a Brain. And not just a, uh, brain.

Been listening to his vids on the El Fabuloso Setzerado, Fuzz De Los Muertos. THe Fuzz=Ray is darn good sounding. But, the Seltzerado just flat out does it for me. Hits MANY fuzz tones in my head. Now, can I afford it right now, hmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Yes, another thumbs up to Tavo. He's spend hours answering my dumb questions about his Blondshell over the last 12 months, and I still haven't ordered one. I do have a selection of his amazing pedals though.
Blondshell order coming soon. Timescales measurable in weeks, not months.
