That's MISTER Echo to you.
Got my ailing Mr. Echo back from S.I.B. with a few mods. I always liked the way the gain stage pushed the front end of my amp, so I'd dial in the boost & use the knob to turn the echo on & off. While it was in the shop I asked if it could be changed so that the gain stage was independent of the echo & be foot switchable. The answer was yes.
End result was the RH switch was pedal in/bypass, the LH "slam" switch disabled in favor of an effect on/off switch. He then stacked another LED so you can tell by red, blue, purple or off what state the pedal was in.
While he was in there he updated the circuit as I had one of the very first made. He said to expect more headroom & a "sweeter" delay than original with another 100ms of delay.
I couldn't be more happy after gigging it last night. Hats off to Rick at S.I.B. for the great service & circuit tweak. Reasonable rates too. $45 + one way shipping.

I doubt I could have it fixed locally for that price. And I thought it a plus having the repair/mod done by the guy that designed it.
