Don't get me wrong, its very cool, nice, hot, but the title was a bit misleading, to a group of people like us.

I used the clear wood finishing oil, not the yellowish tung oil.
Used it both as the paint base and as the clear oil wash and the final finish. It leaves no ultra shiny spots at all.
2 treatments with a mix of the clear oil and a burnt umber brown oil paint.
2 treatments with a mix of the clear oil and the 302 scarlet red oil paint.
I left each coat to work for 12-24 hours and washed it with the clear oil after each coat.
Left it to dry after the last washing and rubbing, before I gave it 2 thin coats with the clear oil.
The body is 3 piece ash, you can see the 'contact' between the upper and middle part, which reacted differently than the wood itself, because of the glue. Interesting thing is that it became visible only after the last 2 clear coats.
The bridge?
I have a bunch of loose parts, so I used the Hipshot type base plate and the saddles from the Jackson/Charvel custom hardtail bridge (I thought I'll use the whole J/C bridge, but I wasn't happy with the square base plate in combination with the TV Jones). Saddles fitted nicely in the new base, e to e spacing 52 mm, which will be perfect for the TV Jones bridge pup spacing.

I am sooo glad that this turned out to be a guitar build thread. When I saw Ash, Oil, and TV, I thought it might be about one of those bathhouses.
