Just gorgeous, and a great playing and sounding guitar to boot. I the late
6o's I played in an eight piece horn band playing a 1961 ES-330. I wish I had that guitar today.

I had a mid-60s ERs-330 and it was pretty sweet. It was kind of in rough shape and I sold it for more than I bought it for. One of those that I should of kept.

Is there another part to the model number? i looked it up, and i cant find the yellow one you have, and there seems to be a few different ones out there, one says 330 L, others say 330 59. And the prices are way apart. Definatlry a nice guitar!

There is a custom shop ES 330 L which has more playing room and the placement of one pick up is not the same as the original design . Gibson no longer have this example in production which is a fine instrument but for the most part the majority of folks prefer the original specifications which the ES 330 provides and costs a bit more .
This is where this guitar comes in the ES 330 59 which Ive placed a picture of here on this site it is blonde in color . This guitar has a fatter neck more of a 50s style , the pickups are under wound it just captures a vintage tone also the guitar and hardware have been frosted to look like a vintage instrument .
Here is a demo of this guitar this is a sunburst which I have currently for sale and hope this helps you understand the difference between the two .

Gorgeous guitar - I can't figure why Gibson is still putting the input jack on the face f the guitar, though. Spoils the aesthetics for me.

Ya thought the same thing and I suppose they just want to keep it as it was and the same goes for my ES 335 the input is on the front as well .
Even so really have fun with this new ES 330 .

That does sound very good!
I considered buying a ES-335 before I bought my Gretsch. Tried it out in the shop, but it didn't seem to suit me. Always liked them on thers though

Congrats on the new gibby g6120, happy NGD.
And thanks for the vid: I enjoyed that. Great playing and great tone. I very much liked
That cleanish middle position and the neck position (ehat you describe as '50s jazz). It does get too dark for my tastes when you roll off the tone. Absolutely lovely lovely guitar!
Play it loud and often!
