Thanks for the encouragement guys.
The neck pocket's been routed.
And here's the obligatory mock up with hardware.
With the neck in the pocket it is exactly 12.75 inches from the 12th fret to the middle of the bridge.
Still to do:
*Drill holes for neck bolts
*Drill hole for output jack
*Drill holes for switch and knobs
*Roundover edges
The switch will be a toggle on the upper bout and the vol and tone controls will run above the lower f-hole on the same angle as the f hole.
I've just realised that the only hardware i don't have are the tuners. I'll have to get some next week.

Thanks 62custom. I've been lucky, its all gone smoothly so far. I'm guessing I've spent 13-15 hours on it over the 3 days. At least I'll have an interesting answer when i get asked what I did over Easter.
The only hiccup was that my Bosche router packed up. The collet seems to have given up the ghost and let the bit fall out . Way too dangerous to use. luckily I had backup.

Thanks. I'm pleased with how its turned out. Its a miserable day in Melbourne so i won't be working on the guitar today.
Anyway I've spent the morning cleaning up for my wife's return this afternoon.

Ha ha my mistake. .
There are no routings on the back (yet). I'm hoping to get all the electonics in through the f holes. I can get the pots in. havent tried the switch yet.
