Default NGD (soon)

I've been gassing for a Firebird for awhile now and almost bought a Korina 'bird when I was in Montreal at Steve's Music on the weekend. It was going to be a pain to ship it to Halifax (was on my way to Vancouver), so I decided against it. And then I spied this on eBay. Should have it in a week or so. It ain't everyone's cuppa tea, I know that, but it sure is cool to me. Love the red & gold combo on this, even though I usually hate gold hardware. Somehow it works on this guitar.

Everything I've read/heard about them has been aces, so I'm pretty excited to hear 'em myself. I've always loved the look of a 3-pickup guitar, and I like the way this one is wired up. Nothing too complicated.

Sweet guitar. I saw Daniel Lanois playing one of those (original 60s version) last year and it sounded amazing. He has such incredible touch, playing partial chords fingerstyle with his dual tweed deluxes cranked... Very melodic and dynamic.

Congrats on yours. I have been jonesing for one of those as well since seeing that show.

Congrats !!! I used to own one but unfortunately had to sell a few years go... I even bought the gibson truss rod cover on eBay, which fit right on; was just a bit too neck heavy for my style;
Those mini-hb's are such a great sound, though

I always thought this was one of the sexiest guitars to look at.
