What other guitars, besides your Gretsch, do you play?
We all know that we have a deep and meaningful relationship with Gretsch. How can you NOT! Aside from our Gretsch guitars though what else do you play? I bet that most of our answers will be very similar!
Telecaster, SC-2 and Epiphone Dot for me. How about you guys?
A few guitars (not Gretsch) that I would like to have...someday!
Reverend Club King and ES-335

Funny enough, although not a slight, my Gretsch is one of my other guitars.
My primary guitar is my Heritage. It just has THE sound I like.
Along with the Gretsch is my old Gibson J55. Father in law gave me that as wanted an acoustic and he knew I normally got guitars and fixed them up. So, after a bit of work, it is a great sounding acoustic.

When I'm not playing my Gretsch 6120, I play a Fillmore reissue of a 1965 Ventures Mosrite, or a Carvin AE-185 six or twelve string.

I LOVE that there are so many "other" brand guitars in these lists!
I am one that "thinned out the herd" as well and discovered how much I love to trade and sell guitars. A lot of it is because I just flat out love guitars and I love getting the chance to try and play all different kinds of guitars. My problem is that I have sort of painted myself into a corner with what I have now! I don't really want to get rid of anything in the current stable! HAHAHA Not a bad problem to have though, it just means no more guitars for awhile until the "Guitar Treasure Chest" gets replenished! I did discover through my Epi Dot that I really love the feel of the thicker neck. So, I think that the next splurge will be a Gibby 335!
What are some names of some good builders right now that are just getting started?

Before discovering Gretsch I was primarily a Guild and Gibson player.
Now my main guitar would be my Mosrite Celebrities.
My main "noodling" guitar is a Fender Bullet
My main acoustic is a Takemine
But, my main gigging guitar is my Gretsch Annie.

Telecaster or Guyatone lap steel get the most useage. Along with the Duo Jet that's 95% of what I play.

Nothing for more than like 2 minutes.
I do have a Strat, Tele and Epi Elitist Broadway.
...and an '87 '62 Re-issue MIJ J-Bass that I want to trade for one of the more inexpensive Hohner B-basses. I'd like that. It wouldn't have as much in the way of excess wording on the model though (1987-1962-re-issue-made-in-japan-Fender-Jazz-Bass whew!).
