NBGD - Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah...
Just finished the last hour noodling with my new Bass. It is a Starfire? violin bass. I won it off the Bay for a measly $121.51 including shipping.
Everything works perfectly and the fit and finish is good. It is not as pretty as my son's Red Douglas Beatle bass but it has that classic Hofner stain.
So what do I like about it? Pretty much everything starting with the price. It is very light and comfortable. IT plays well and sounds great. Every once in a while I get blessed with a good deal and this one...Wow!
Oh and Jukebox - no problems with this baby!
And here are the pics:

THX guys. Been looking for a long time. The eBay auction ended in the middle of a work day and that probably contributed to my snagging it at such a low price. It was brand new.
