New Gretsch 5122DC
Hi Everybody
I bought my first Gretsch last Saturday,a 5122DC in walnut and I'm absolutely loving it.
I can't believe the quality of this guitar for the price!
The tone is fantastic.
I previously have only owned solid body guitars but recently got interested in semi acoustics/hollow bodies and bought a Hagstrom Viking(Cherry colour) about 18 months ago (also a very good guitar).I've always wanted a Gretsch Country Gentlemen but didn't have the big bucks, so the 5122 suits me fine.
Being an Elvis Presley fan both guitars have some meaning for me with Elvis using a Viking in the 68 special and a Country Gentlemen during the filming of TTWII and on tour and in Vegas in '69/70.
