I too played nothing but strats for many years, one day a gretsch crossed my path, and have not left this forum ever since. How would you compare the neck on your new gretsch to the thin necks on the strats?
Welcome!

Thanks Everyone!
Freddy,
I was thinking It would feel like a boat oar at first. I have Ibanez AS120 (335).Its the same scale. I also have a GTX copy Strat that was made by Kaman in the 80s that I rebuilt .The neck on it is 24 7/8 scale, the neck feels real close to it.
My main go to guitars have been the last few years has been my 90 G&L ASAT III,94 G&L Legacy and 2002 USA HR Fat Strat. ASAT and Strat Both have modern C neck . My Legacy has a soft V a fatter feeling neck.
Between my Ibanez and now the Gretsch one or both may be added to the go to list.

A person named Chet that plays a Gretsch . . . not bloody likely!
