Hiya guys
Just wanted to introduce myself to you guys. Been reading these posts for a few weeks and feel that I have met "my people"
I just got my first Gretsch a few weeks ago (Pro Jet) and see how many mods one can do to it, and that seems like the perfect platform.
Here's a story though... years ago, when I was 19 (I'm now 37) I was fortunate enough to have a cousin who let me play his 6120 and I fell in love with it at that moment. When I saw an afforable Gretsch (and being that I've played Gibsons) the Duo Jet was for me... then I saw a Pro Jet at a fraction of the price and I love this guitar. It's been my primary since I got it.
Just thought I would say hello, and for those who sent the friend requests, thanks for making a new guy feel welcome.
