If you see anything good at Willie's let me know. Have fun, wish I didn't have to work (although I'll be making money rather than spending it!)

just a reminder, today is the day to meet at Snuffy's/Willie's. 12:00 noon

for those of you out of the area, here's Willie's website. www.williesguitars.com it's a great guitar store to just look around in and wish you had the money to buy something.

Did you ever hear about the time they were going to merge the Twin Cities? They got all of the details worked out amicably but had yet to consider a name. A councilman, probably a relative on my dad's side of the family, stood up and suggested Minnehaha. Everyone was in agreement until he decided to elaborate Saying; "Minne for Minneapolis and Haha for Saint Paul".

Have a nice trip over to Haha guys.

Good, then it is Snuffy's next to Willies today, Saturday, 26 Nov 11, at high noon~! It will be interesting and hopefully we can build an ad hoc Gretschaterian Users Group (or a reasonable facsimile). After all, isn't owning a Gretsch(s), a select chosen few.

My G5120 finally came - my Gretsch Acquisition Syndrome is completely out of control... I have a G5122 and a G5120 sitting in my living room.

Your Gretsch Acquisition Syndrome is a very mild case, treatable at this stage with sugar pills and Spongebob viewing. I have six Gretsch guitars and am contemplating a seventh. If you still have both kidneys you are a mild case.

When I lived there the Musician's Union had a local in Minneapolis and another in St. Paul. That meant that about half of my gigs involved paying double dues, 1% for Minne' and another 1% for Haha. No one was laughing.

Default Dealing with GAS and bad memories...

I was looking at some of my own guitars today and realized I was wearing an orange shirt. It brought back all kinds of horrible memories of myself flipping a stop/slow paddle, stopping and allowing traffic, working road construction on a very hot summer day.

It is not a very hot summer day here in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota USA.

Now I remember where I've seen you before. I think I ran over your toes once.

good to see you too Greg. and my pocketbook isn't any lighter. all the guitars are still safe at Willie's. I even went to Guitar Center in Edina after I left y'all. it was too crowded and there wasn't anything there that I couldn't live without. I wonder if MJ got his turkeys ?

Sat - a good day had by those who made it to Snuffy's~! Not knowing anyone, I bought a GRETSCH book at Willie's before hand and anyone who walked in, I held up the book with the word Gretsch on it. Sgt Rock spotted that ASAP~! Hopefully, next meeting we'll have a little bigger turn out..
