Pappy
I know I don't post here much anymore, but Pappy is over fighting for us in the sandbox. I am getting together a care package to send to him. If you would like to donate electric strings ( 9 or 10's), cords, picks or anything like that, for Pappy and his Mates, you can send them to me at:
Michael W. Peterson
400 West Broadway
Little Falls, MN, 56345
DO NOT SEND ME CASH, SEND WHAT EVER YOU WOULD LIKE TO DONATE!
THANK YOU!

Also, if there's anything you want to donate that I can't use myself, I will forward on to a common relaxation and recreation room that's open 24/7 where soldiers of all types and branches go to unwind after a tough day. They have a guitar or two, but the usual problems are there, lack of picks, missing strings, etc. etc.

Pappy, it is good to hear from you. I was thinking about you this past weekend and wondering how you are doing. Know you miss your family and this great forum. Miss hearing from you as well.

I'm OK. Getting along as best as I can. I do really miss my family. Can't wait to see them again. I plan on taking my little girlie to the Build A Bear Workshop when I get back. I'm sure she'll like it and it would give us some alone time since I know she's been struggling for attention recently.
The stories I hear though. She apparently told my wife that she will build an airplane and my wife, son, and daughter will fly out here to see where I live.
Breaks my heart.

You guys don't need to do this. I'm only in need of a set of strings, and only because they're a bit dead.
If you do feel like you would like to donate to people in the military, I would personally feel much more comfortable directing your attentiong to Guitars For Vets ( http://www.guitarsforvets.org/G4V/Home.html)that have way more deserving people than me that can benefit from yoru charity.
I really do appreciate the thought though. I just think there are so many other people who deserve it more than me.
I certainly don't want to appear ungrateful either, it really does mean a lot to me.

Let's say by the 1st of March.
Pappy, what you and your mates don't use, you are free to donate to whomever you want. We OWE you boys! And strings, picks and what-nots are little to pay.

Jukebox, it'll probably be a MUCH safer bet to have them out of your hands and on the way by the 20th of Feb at the very latest. It takes a little bit for mail to get here and I aim to be home sometime in March.

How about some thong underwear? You could be a hit with the boys.
Keep up the good work, kid. Still got my amp? I still got yours, build a big brown house for it with a 12" Jensen P12N, green bell back.

Thought you were going to try to sell that one, Jeff! I traded the Blues Jr for a Vox AC15. It's not without it's quirks but still has sone pretty great tone if the eq is at noon and the tubes are plenty warmed up.

Haven't sold it yet. I had a booth at the Motor City Guitar Show with 5 amps I built. 1 hour into the show there was a major power outage, and the lights never came back on. Sucked.
Next show is in the spring, maybe I'll sell it then.
I bought a Vox AC30 CCH (head) that I want to hand wire, but I don't have the time.

Best wishes Pappy.

The Build a Bear is a great father daughter thing...did that with my daughter a few years ago (man they grow up fast). I think I had more fun than she did.
My son in law is in Afghanistan right now, his second deployment, he should be getting back soon.
My prayers go out to you and yours.
God bless Pappy and thank you for your service.

Thanks guys. The bear is probably more for me than her. Lots of talking and hanging out with her which is just what I want.
Renegade, good luck to your son. He's in my thoughts.
Thank you, jukebox.

We've known you're taco short of a combo plate for a long time, man.
Mike, I have something to throw in for Pappy if that’s still possible. Gimme a shout if there's time. Thanks.
