I'm looking for an acoustic. Wonder when the new Ranchers will be in the shops? I like the looks of the Sunset Red single cutaway. Sure like to play one.

That great "Gretsch A-Caustic Sound" is what I remember hearing. Here is nice video of that classic acoustic Gretsch sound. Top of the line Gretsch 6022 look out Taylor and Martin they're back.

If you've read my post earlier - forget what I said and watch this instead:

42 seconds was enough for me. It sounds thin and tinny just like I remember them. Also the guy was impressing himself by showing us he has a real command of the English language in expressing his feelings.

That is very good news to me, a Rancher lover! It is great to see the classic Rancher reborn for this day and age. I miss my Rancher dreadnoughts and green G6012AN Sweet 16 I used to have (I had to sell them for financial pressures).
How long will this production run last? I hope it's not too short! Will these be available in normal guitar stores?
I especially like the new G5034 Dreadnought; it has a solid top (unlike the Folk, Orchestra, and the other models).
I hope to get the Dreadnought model, when my financial situation improves (hopefully later this year, or next). I hope when I can get it, it's not too late (and out of production).

Those Sweet 16s were, well, sweet. I'm certain that these will be widely available.

I've been checking out the inventory at Gruhn Guitars and when looking at the flat tops I read over and over - "repaired top cracks" no matter what the brand. Maybe there's something positive to be said regarding the laminated tops on the rest of the new acoustic range after all.

I think it's ok for the average player. Solid wood sounds better but is far more fragile and sensitive to humidity problems.
