Default How many Gretsch's have you owned?

I figured out today that I have owned 17 Different Gretsch Guitars over the years. How many have you owned and which were your favorites?

My favorites were An US made Carved Top White Falcon and the Setzer Black Pheonix I had!

well, I've had my '59 6124 Annie since 1966 and I got my '01 6114 New Jet this past January. I like them both.

Two.

Oh - I see - that's how you want to play. Apparently my original reply was too short. How's this?

Two. Yada, yada, yada, yada, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Hey wait! Does this now qualify as a blog???

I've never owned any until this year. I now have two and one on the way. Yes I am expecting.

This year I bought a 2008 G5120 and a 2004 G400. I think there is a 6118 Annie in my future, according to the crytal ball and tea leaves.

I have nine currently, and I'd estimate I've probably owned 20 or so over the years.

The favorite of the bunch, and I really don't like to pick a favorite, has probably been(and still is) my 2005 Duo-Jet 6128TSP.

It looked like you were bonding with one at the jam. Just like the one I used to own, an exceptional guitar.

Yes Poppatwang I was seriously bonding with that Annie. I love everything about it. Not to mention that it matches my hair which makes it a perfect accessory!

I think that the Cherry one is still the best of them all! I don't care for the 3 pickup on the Stump-o-matics, but I do like the idea of it being a hardtail.

Just 3 - a black 5120 (my first ever guitar), a 125th Anniversary Edition Vette and a TV Jones Lacquer edition White Falcon. On the wish list...a White Penguin, a White Billy Bo Jupiter, a Bo Diddley, and a Setzer Hot Rod.

Just one.......until now. Jukey's love for Corvette gave me curiosity, but then I got a free Epiphone V and don't want to have too many guitars in this small room. So I switched my plan: ordering TV Jones pickups for the V. But I might get a 'vette someday.
