Default Where to find Back Plates for Jets?

Anyone know who sells these after market? I'm modding an older Pro Jet to add the Duo Jet-style Master Volume and the 2nd Volume Control/Master tone and need the triangle-shaped back plate.

I might just make one from a one-ply pickguard material, but I'd like to use it for measurement for routing before the fact.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I've made my own backplates for my guitars in the past, athough time consuming it's easy to do. To make a template I just stretch a thin piece of printer paper over the hole an rub a soft pencil over it, (just like brass rubbing), and the outline is clearly defined. I then cut this out, stick it to the plastic with low tack spray glue and cut the plate. If a beveled edge is required I just draw a craft knife blade along the edge at a suitable angle.

You really only need to know the rough sizes to make your openning(s) Your plate is going to have to be made from your actual hole. Is there any chance of getting to a guitar store with a tape measure? You will likely have other dimentions as well. For instance - how far from the edge of the body and how high up from the bottom?

Or you can start with a picture and just scale it up to actual sizes. It is often important to build on paper before cutting...
Sometimes this can save from making costly errors.

Paul Setzer is making one for me. He suggested making the rubbing as described above. Look for him under members - setzer is his screen name.

It turns out that the oval back plate used on the Pro Jet w/Master Vol/Tone that comes stock can be used as a reference.

Tracing the original oval, then redrawing using the inside measurement of that oval, then doing the same at 45 degree angles off the end of the oval results in a triangle that perfectly matches a stock triangle plate.

So, yeah, I'll just make my own.

Like I said, I was looking for a simple solution of ordering it from a retailer, but if I have to ask someone else here to make it, I'll just do it myself.
