Default 6128TDS vs. George Harrison Sig.

GAS creeping...
I have always regretting grabbing a 6128TDS while they were in production as I really loved the aged binding and inlays, as well as the mahog back and sides. That being said, the Harrison model looks great, albeit pricey in comparison. There's a TDS I have a line on that could very well be had for a pretty price. I asked the seller about the sometimes problematic balance issue between neck and bridge Dynas and he said that this issue was "sort of" present, "due mainly in part to this being the case with all Dyna equipped models in general."
While anyone who has played a Dyna equipped Gretsch knows this can sometimes be the case, requiring some extra tinkering with the pickup adjustments in order to get a good balance, it’s by no means the rule. My 6129-1957 is perfectly balanced and I barely had to turn a screw.
I'm wondering to myself if the newer, more expensive and more "hyped" (is that the right word?) Harrison model has this problem more under control. Does anyone have any hands (or ears) on experience with the George model? If so, how did you find the balance between pickups?

Any info appreciated.
