Default Great Sydney Guitar Tech

Hey Guys,

Anyone looking for a guitar tech in Sydney Australia should go no further than Alan Rigg here in Glebe, over the past 30 or so years I've been to many but finally found a guy who's as passionate about how my guitars feel and sound as I am! I'm so impressed with him I have posted on the Strat-talk & TDPRI forums as well.
He was Tommy & Phil Emmanuel's staff guitar tech and I can see why.

It's super hard to find techs in Sydney that are knowlegable about Gretsches. I went to Alan to get the jack in my 5120 replaced and do a setup/polish. It was a pretty quick turnaround too.

He's got a Setzer (spelling?) Gretsch in his arsenal - so the right man for your axe!

To add another name. Piers Crocker in Gladesville is a very experienced luthier and total Gretsch head. Very experienced with vintage work, reasonable prices for the exterme quality you get. He just finished working on my Gibby 295 and got it feeling and sounxding fantastic. We also should note that we lost Craig Upfold from the central coast several weeks ago to illness. Craig was an outstanding luthier and well known for 'impossible' repairs. Also an A1 guy. He will be sorely missed.

I was tossing up wether to go to Piers or Alan as I'd heard a lot of good things about them both, you wouldn't go wrong using either.
