Default Tony Scherrīs new guitar

Hi folks,

greetings from Vienna, Austria. Iīm new to this forum. Perhaps somebody can help me out:
I saw Tony Scherr a few weeks ago in Vienna. Awesome sound!
I know itīs all in the fingers; still I wonder if anybody knows the red semi-acoustic with heīs currently playing while touring. From the distance i thought itīs a gretsch, and Dearmond pickups, but after the show somebody said itīs a cheap Chinese guitar.
Of course, iīd like to try one and see how it sounds.
Thanks a lot
Chris

Was it a semi-accoustic, or a hollow body electric? If it was a Hollowbody electric, it sounds like the 5129? (I think thats the red one)

Here's one next to a 5125.

Welcome to the forum. Doesn't Tony Scherr play bass?

Hola! The brand of a guitar is always of parmount importance... unless it is a red guitar.

Both bass and guitar.
