HNDGD. (Happy new dream guitar day)
So...I put in a lower bid on my dream guitar, a 2005 6119-HT, and won it. Picked it up today, opened the box...no shipping damage!!! Fricking beautiful. Previous owner put a TV Filtertron in the bridge, but included original HiLo in case I want to change it back. But...it sounds godly. Looks godly. Just needs a thorough cleaning, polishing and new strings. The bad part is, now I have two Gretsches, and my banker says I can only have one...I don't know how I can part with such beauties. The banker may have to just bite it this time. Of course I love the Tennessee Rose more, but they are just both equally mint and gorgeous, and I went and bonded with the darn Anni after drilling holes in it. Here's some pics:

Tell the banker to think about how much it will depress you to let go of one.

Thanks guys. I'm a super happy gal.
As to keeping them both (who am I kidding, if one had to go it would be the anniversary), well, I can handle paying a bit of interest for now at least.
So bank be damned lol.

Sweetness, yes. The banker needs some spiritual input...as usual.
