Default One more Corvette

As my old 65' get bored to be the only Gretsch at home, i m buying another one a classic cherry red. 65' one pu . In France, in my old Normandie, my friends are discovering Vettes and i think they love it!!!

The reissues are very close in specs and playability to the old ones. The neck is slightly skinnier but not significantly. I like the 2/4 headstock & wish the new ones had it too.

I hesistated between buying an old and a reissue because new ones are really beauties even if made in korea and they look to be a logical evolution as fender done it with its different version of the strat ( it s just an example). I chose an old because i actually play on my old vette and the wood is really good and respect all the frequencies ( to my hear) . I sold my sg yesterday and have no regrets . I choose a one pickup because i ve notice i lost a lot of time searching for sound between two or three or whatever you want. Now i plug and play just thinking and modifying my way to play and eventually the pots of the amp . I had the money for a two pu s but i prefered save for buying a mac later ...
