My wife loved her Mother's Day present ! I took her out to eat and gave her a Limited Edition DVD of DELIVERANCE, she had never seen it before.
" Squeal lika Pig" Happy Mother's Day Ya'll , I love how twisted I am.

Pilgrim, "you sure got a pretty mouth!" ha! I remember when that movie came out and after the initial scene I couldn't watch the rest of the movie! is it good? yes you are twisted!
Ok what I did for mamma: the kids and I took my lovely wife to breakfast at a quaint little restaurant here "Dago" Flowers, card the whole thing! its was great! Next she and I are gonna sneak off and have supper alone!
Today me and Mom had mimosas for breakfast, some strawberry margaritas for lunch (she insisted on Cazadores, which surprised me), and we just got back from the Black Angus where we had some nice steaks for dinner! She hasn't been in the best of health in recent years, so I try to make the time we do spend together count. :-)
Unfortunately my mother doesn't celebrate holidays, so I couldnt do anything for her. I usually wait till a couple days later and get her something "just because".
It was a beautiful day here in MA near the NH border. We smoked a couple of turkeys and had Mom over with the entire family. Mom is getting on in years and truly understands how special these get togethers are.
Can't top the Deliverance present. I went with a hanging plant and a card...Not nearly as adventurous as The Pilgrim.
I never watched the whole movie either, should do that.
On topic, almost every day is mother's day to me, because I'm a secret saint. Except now I told the world so now I'm just a horn-blowing hypocrite. No, lol, my mom doesn't celebrate holidays either. We party every day, just like it's 1999.

I just got my mom flowers delivered in an oversized martini glass. It got delivered the day before which happened to be her birthday and she was getting drunk with one of her friends. For her birthday my wife and I got her a charm from Tiffany's and Co. for her Tiffany's charm bracelet.
My twin brother and I (fraternal twins) play in a band together. He brought my parents to the gig (VFW hall). I gave her a diamond necklace while she was there. Nothing real fancy, but enough for her to be "real proud." It was a nice evening for her.
Boys made mom waffles n coffee, she got to watch Cat on a Hot Tin roof with Paul Newman and Elizabeth Taylor.. then she made my oldest practice swing dance lessons
from her DVD until he pleaded for his life. We drank a bottle of wine out on the patio
and contemplated ways of leaving this stupid state for our real motherland "Nashville".
....okay, Franklin actually because our friends moved there and my buddy is a recording
engineer.
