Default What's he story behind this Gretsch?

I saw this supposed Bo Diddley Gretsch guitar on eBay. A little suspicious in that there's only one blurry photo and the starting price is low with a $10,000 BIN. Love the line, "I paid a lot for this guitar, but don't know what's worth."

I think the seller is trying to say this guitar was owned by Bo Diddley and his ghost is in it? He never quite comes out and says that it was Diddley's, though. He is also trying to say that it will make you a better guitar player because of the alleged ghost. $10,000? I don't think so. It's probably a relic'ed Electromatic.

The guy is definitely laying bait and hoping that a fool with too much money comes along. My guess is that this is an Electomatic, worth, perhaps, slightly more than the shipping cost. If I were Bo Diddley's ghost I'd hide in a Pro Series.

I know of a source for magic MIM Fenders. I can get them in any standard Fender color usually on the same day as the order is placed. They are priced at $5,000 each or three for $10,000. Of course there's a $1,000 handling fee, non-refundable due right now. Just PayPal your payments to: eyeripuoff@eyeripuoff.ripoff.onlyfoo...acomputer.ripoff.

Well, with $250 shipping, he's assured of making $200-$215ish on it. Aint fooling current bidders though.
