If so, how long did it take to break-in? How do you like it in general?
I ask, because I JUST installed one such into my Bugera V5 late, last night (ergo could only test it very low vol to make sure the solders were good).

I just sounded great right out of the box. It sounds the same now as it did a year ago - and it loves full volume. I use it Billy Bragg style - maxed out on volume, and then placed speaker side down on the floor - it adds a bit of natural compression, but also gives me great tone at a naturally reduced volume. It's a fun little amp, and it won't wake the kids. The Fender on the lowest possible setting still shakes the kids out of bed.

I would think it important to indicate the style or type of sound you like or aim to get. Myself, I lean towards a warm clean sound, maybe with some reverb and/or a little tremelo. I'm into finger style playing (more of a Merle/Chet sound). Your choice of an amp may be dependent solely on the style you like to play. So it might be important to someone who's considering a new amp to know what your style is. (I'm looking for a new amp soon myself (as soon as I get the bucks!)).

I'm into dirty clean, and downright filthy dirty OD. The Setzer tone is about as clean as I ever want to get. I don't like 'squeaky clean' clean. I'm terribly allergic to country music, it makes me want to hurt kittens.

This is pretty typical of my tone....
Kind of dark video. It's my Duo Jet through my Executive.
It's being goosed by my DynaBrain...

I either plug my Jet into the Rocket A-10 with a Fender '63 Reissue Reverb or lately I've been plugging into a stereo set up with a Mesa Boogie MK IV and Sovetek pine 4x12 and a Roland JC-120.

Mines the A-20. EL34 vs EL84 in the A-10. A few were put out as amps or kits by Andy of Mojotone when he had an outfit called Nothing Shocking. He bought ADA's remaining stock of amps/parts/cabs when they folded. Andy reworked the reverb circuit in mine to be more Fender-like, including an Accutronics tank.
Curt Emory was brought in to tweak the circuit for production for ADA. Origin of the amps were a couple of prototypes of unknown make someone found at a garage sale. Or so the legend goes.
The A-20 is a versatile recording rig and I gig it as well. The 20 in the name is a misnomer as I don't think you get 20 watts out of a single 34. Probably closer to 10 watts. So not lots of clean headroom in a club, but that's not my thing anyway. I can hit the sweet spot for breakup without killing the first row.

If the MIJ version of this and that baritone go (they're on the bay), then this will be next.
I buy the wrong guitars and sell the right ones.
