Got this today on Craigslist . Definite come up. Got her cheap . I love the pickups but I'm not into the color or the body size. If anyone lives in the bay area and wants to trade or buy I'm listening. If not... Then I thought I'd post some pics for you guys. Not the best quality but... Why not share anyway .

That baby blue always gets the heads turning. Lovely guitar.
When I got my 5129 it was the last new one I could find online. They'd already discontinued them. Real shame.

I'm not in the Bay area but I might be interested in buying it. Shoot me a price and I'll go over it with the wife if you don't mind shipping it across the country.

Oh, bite your tongue! The 5127 is one of the coolest guitars out there! Chicks dig 'em!
I admit, you do kinda need to be bold to own and play one on stage. Maybe it is more of a West Coast Blues type guitar?
I love my 5127. It's got twang, and growl, and with a bit of overdrive on top, it's got attitude to spare!
If I was out in the 'Bay area (my daughter is), I might try to fiddle up something to trade, since you don't seem to care for it... But I'm out East, I'm afraid. You never know, give it a try and play it out some... I'm telling you, the chicks dig 'em!

Ya you're right. Chicks dig em for sure. My girlfriend said I was a fool and I should keep it because it reminds her of Elvis and the fifties. I told her she doesn't know anything and she was born in 1988. Haha.

Are you seriously considering selling trade? What are you looking for, and is shipping out of the question?

Ya I mean it's a cool guitar just I like my other two gretsches better. I guess for the right price I'd ship. Never shipped before. If you're anywhere near the bay area I'd prefer that. As far as trades go I play Martin acoustic and telecaster... Even a different gretsch would be rad.

Not sure if you are in Martin territory, unless its a laminate. Can you give a ball park figure?

Shipping shouldn't be an issue. Most FedEx stores should be able to pack it up and insure it for you.
If you are really interested in selling put a price up on it for us and let us know. It seems you have some interest on here.

That Martin plus cash sounds good. I don't really know how I feel about shipping. I have it up on my local san Francisco Craigslist right now. If nothing interesting crosses my path I could ship it.

If anybody is looking to buy this guitar I'm willing to ship . I'm thinking 800 plus whatever shipping would be. If you're into it email me at johnrandolphthatcher@yahoo.com

I'm thinking you're foolish to part with it at all, and doubly so to ask that price for it. Just so ya know.

What price would you ask for it? I just really don't need it and I have 2 other gretsches I like more. I don't know.
I'd preferably like a new tele for trade but who knows
