My Jet has become my favoritte guitar
My Double Jet has become my favorite guitar. Is that wierd? Guess it's not. I still like my Stump Vette. And, it's still great for getting really dirty. I also still play my Schecter Tempest and Ibby LP on a rare occasion. But, I picked up a git with GFS Retrotrons last night. I had REALLY liked those pups when I put them in. But, I put it back on the wall after 10 minutes and grabbed the Jet and finished the night of playing and practicing with it. Realized, that it was now, my go-to, favorite guitar. Love the versatile sound, feel, tone, neck etc.

It's good to read that you've bonded with that beauty
There's always the risk that once you've had a new guitar for a while the magic fades, nice to know that's not the case
Have fun

Yep, definate bonding, to the nth degree I really, really, really like belly cuts on a git. Don't even notice there isn't one. It just fits.

I hope to find a purchase a duo jet some time this year when the finances allow me. I love the necks on gretschs plus they are built so well. I wood work so i notice flaws in craftsmanship and gretsch has it down. Even the electromatics are built very well. They just need some upgrades.

Awesome. My Jet is my favorite too. Just like yours except in silver instead of gold.

The more I play my Jet, the more I realise what a great axe it is.
