The Power of Tara (NGD)
To date, I've been lukewarm towards Jets. The handful I've encountered just haven't been amazing, the way some Gretsches can be. Playability only average; tones lackluster. Pretty, sometimes, but nothing that got under my skin.
So it really makes no sense that I became obsessed with this one:
And today, after a genuinely harrowing week trying to figure out whether or not FedEx lost the package, it finally landed. And it's great!
So color me converted. I can only assume that Tara's indefatigable proselytizing has a deep subliminal influence on all of us. No one is safe; consider yourselves warned!

If/when I buy another Gretsch, it'll be the CG Jet. Tara is right.

I am also a recent Jet convert. Though I had never even laid hands on one until my buddy handed me the one I bought. My Sparkle Jet is one of the finest instruments I've ever played.
Congrats! A Dyna equipped Jet will someday be in the stable for me as well!
