Default Tennessee Rose Input Jack

Is this area of the body reinforced of is a jackplate required/recommended?

It's a very weak point, no matter the brand of guitar.
I'm thinking of puting a gold jack plate on my Country Club.
I just never got around to ordering one.

Some guitars have a small patch a veneer at the point, some don't..

Fix it before its too late!
