I'm trying to secure my floating bridge in place on my 5125 because it occasionally moves. I've read on here many recommend using violin rosin to stick the bridge base in place and not do anything permanent.
My question is this: What is the texture of the violin rosin supposed to be like?? I've got 2 different cakes from 2 different places and they are both the consistency of hard candy. Wouldn't they be sticky? These are not sticky at all, and I don't see how it would hold my bridge base secure. Someone please help! Should I just use double sided tape?
