Default new Synchromatic

Have wanted one for a long time.

Finally ordered one from local dealer; said none in the warehouse, that they would make new ones.

Since he said this was a Japanese model, I'm assuming it will be made at the Terada factory. Picture on the web site shows cutaway natural with a TV Jones pickup. Of course, when you assume, you make an ass out of u and me

Anybody play one of these? Does it meet your expectations?

So I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas.

The 400 series Synchromatics are made in Japan by Terada. The 100 series were made in Korea-- they are no longer in production.

Thanks.
I did order a 400 series. They had a Korean 100 series in the shop which was a nice guitar for the $$$. But I've been waiting quite a while to get a Gretsch jazz guitar, so decided to bite the bullet and spend the $$$
