Default Floating to Fixed stud bridge conversion?

Anybody ever converted a Gretsch floating bridge setup to a Gibson style fixed stud bridge setup on something like a Duo Jet? I am new to Gretsch's and am just curious. I know they do this on the Electromatics. FWIW I just bought a Power Jet. -Frank

Now, why would someone do that? It wouldn't be a Gretsch after the mod.

There are several ways you can keep the bridge in place without altering the guitar in any way. Please don't go drilling holes in a beautiful guitar.
I use double sided tape to keep my bridges in place. Other tricks are bow resin, carpet tape, etc. Many members here use nothing and never have a problem.

I think you'd need to change the neck angle or else you'd need some really LONG studs.... And that would just open a whole different can of issues. embrace the floater.
