Default Anyone own a 6120-1959 poly version

I'm curious if anyone owns a Poly version that I think is now discountinued, of the Chey 6120-1959?

I'm curious of 2 things, is the orange more Vintage orange like the Laq or Setzer LVO? Or more reddish?

Secondly, did you ever take the pickguard off and see if the rubber spacer left the "Bullseye" ring or is it not reacting to the poly?

I found one and may pull the trigger and swap out pickups.

Thanks, Diggey

Default Poly 59

Yes I've got one...

The Orange is exactly the same IMHO as the SSLVO. Orange Vintage Stain.

The Poly is VERY thin..sure it may not age as nice but as far as tone goes

I'm really happy with the HS Filtertrons, have them in my Stills Falcon too.

The Trestle bracing is interesting..quite different in feel to my Sound Post WF.

Removed the P/guard on mine no marks from the spacer.

Good luck if you buy it...

I've got one and I play the piss out of it. I freaking LOVE this guitar. The poly doesn't hurt the tone, IMHO. It's a great guitar.

I'm actually thinking about putting some TV Jones Classics in it, but I also like the Filtertrons that came in it. Also, the rocking bar bridge on it is really comfy and solid. My guitar stays in tune great and I think it's the best guitar I've ever owned in my life!

Oh, and I don't think they've been discontinued. I bought mine brand new last year.
