Is the White Falcon really rare？
Hi everyone, as I droped my plan of buying a Country Gentleman, new I focus on the Falcons. I like the double cutaway shape and missed a White Falcon DC on ebay. Howver, the DC is not available on other shops even like musician's friend.
Does anyone have a DC? Is it really rare??

Check with some of the more "specialized" Gretsch dealers...I'm sure they can find one because I'm doubting the 6136DC would be considered rare.
Google dealers like Shanghai Guitar, Dave's Guitar, Cream City Music, Blackrider, and Redbone. I just noticed you are in China and I don't know if any of these ship there, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

THX Scott, some of my family members live in the US so they can buy the guitar for me. I'm still looking for a used one because the new guitars are so expensive... |

The DC version with FilterTrons is generally felt to be less desirable than the single cut with Dynas, and is probably less common as a result but shouldn't be hard to find used. |

I concur with the milkman.
Try Rocky at Street Sounds in NYC. He has a great selection.

I think the DC's are cool. I have a single cutaway falcon and love it, but, I can't help but smile and groove on the DC. You gotta find what really trips YOUR trigger and makes you proud and happy and excited to the point that you'll just sit with a guitar and groove on it...
The guitar fever thing is really hard to sate... it will be really hard if you worry about what other people think.
