I use soap and water to clean off my memory sticks. Toss 'em in the laundry and they'll get real clean.

I had a usb flash drive go through a wash and dry and the data remained accessible. Thing still works, but it's only 256 mb...

Synchro: Wish I could do something to utilize my memory stick, the one that sits on my shoulders that is.

Since there's no moving parts in a memory stick, you can do a LOT to them and they will still work.
Guitarfarm - who made the blank black truss rod cover for your 1994 SSL? I need one. Bad.

I was going to answer with something really clever but I can't remember what it was.

I've seen it go both ways. My assistant washed his recently, no sweat. I lost a 256 MB that way back when 256 MB was a lot.

Jeff, if I recall correctly, I got that from BlackRider. I de-Setzered the thing years ago and got the arrow knobs and truss rod cover from the same vendor. While I appreciate Brian's music and think he is a wonderfully talented guitar player, I just saw no reason to have his name on my guitar (if that makes any sense).

I took off the signature pick guard, the last De-Setzerizing I need to do is the truss rod cover. I bought 2 or 3 different one, from various people (Black Rider was one), but they are a different size. And now that I type that, you told me the same thing LAST time I asked you where you got it.
I'd forgotten all about Paul Setzer. But first I might try my luthier. I'll be taking in the 1965 Jazzmaster for a once over, don't think I ever asked him yet.

I wanted to ask you two questions Jeff; do you ever ask someone a question and forget that you asked them so you ask it again and do you ever ask someone a question and forget that you asked them so you ask it again?
Oh year, one more question that I just remembered; do you ever ask someone a question and forget that you asked them so you ask it again?

Repeating stories over and over again is the next step into old age. Problem is I've been doing that since my early 30's. I never thought I could run out of stories. It's the same ones over and over again! Well there are stories not yet told but they are not for public consumption let alone these forums.
