just got this triangle hole nice acoustic electric in new condition. one owner
got 1997 for $1400. no info or records at fender/gretsch scottsdale. was it considered a bad product? another gretsch 12 string flattop used same 6020

what filetype is it? the easiest way is to upload it to imageshack or tinypic or something, and then copy it's URL & press the button in a new post window

Regarding not being able to find info on your Gretsch, there's a big black hole regarding the pre-fender Gretsches.. it's hard to find anything on most models pre-2003, so it's not that your model was a dud or anything, it just falls into the general hole.

Can't wait to see the pics

The Crimson Flyer (in red) and Night Bird (in blue) were strange models sold in the 90s. They're flat top true acoustic guitars with a magnetic pickup in the soundhole. Some came with a Bigsby (!) Not many were sold so far as I can tell. I have a Night Bird with Bigsby (although it'll be for sale soon.) Nice sounding guitar, either acoustically or electrically. They're listed in the Blue Book of Acoustic Guitars. I've never seen a Crimson Flyer for sale and only 2 Night Birds.

Wow! I've never seen a Bigsby on an acoustic before. Does it work well?

i guess 29th in 1992. price of blue? paid $850 for like new red. japan built?
would prefer not to have bigsby but seems to function nicely. will try photo

Yes, it does, surprisingly. Sounds unusual at first to strum a nice acoustic chord and then add the little wiggle at the end but it's a neat effect.

This one's a 1991.

It's a thieving rip-off. A fake. A trademark violation. Wanna buy a Rolex watch for $50?

That's how.

The Crimson Flyer has a chestnut back and sides with spruce top, the Night Bird has maple back and sides.

Dr. that Night Bird is cool! That's modded with the pickup and Bigsby, not factory, right? What do you do about feedback? Could stuff it with cotton.... Hmmmm?...
