Bigsby arm too tight.
Just swapped over Bigsby licensed model for b6c. Arm feels way too tight. What can I do to get it to be more soft and easy to use?

First problem, probably your issue. The bottom of the Bigsby plate (end of the guitar)needs to be elevated at least 3/16" off the body or your arm angle will be too steep making it difficult to reach the arm & tougher to bring down to a comfortable level.

I swapped out the 1"spring I has added for the stock one that came with the B6C. Big difference. Thanks

I ordered a 1" spring from a certain store and it is about 2/3 the diameter of my stock and prettier spring. Have I been bamboozled? Haven't put it in yet.

I think mine was aftermarket, and seemed quite thick in comparison . Stock one seems better. More responsive.

How many holes did you need to redrill to fit the Bigsby B6C on?

Mmm... Dunno. Sadly I'm non-guitar coordinated, and paid a luthier to do it.

I don't think this is on right, as the bar is pointing pretty high up, and when I compared it to the others on the wall if seems a bit more flush when it sits. Im having tuning issues, now and this probably explains why the previous hole from the licensed model were not visible, where as everyone else's were.
