Default V-cut B6 on an SSLVO: Yes/No & Why?

Just picked up a V-cut B6 on eBay (perhaps from someone here?). It's got a fairly visible scratch below the Gretsch logo from the bar swinging around all the way and scraping it, but overall, it looks pretty cool considering it's supposedly off of a '60's-era Gretsch.

I'm thinking about putting it on my SSLVO - should be a direct swap and all the holes should line up, right?

I know some of you have ordered SSLVO's with V-cut B6's, but wanted to get the collective opinion on whether or not to swap it out. Obviously, it's purely aesthetic, if they are of the same functional condition, which they appear to be.

Opinions?
