Maybe you don't care.. enough? Maybe you care, but you see it for what it is. Knowledge can be such a trifle pass time.
Or maybe "to know" implies action, and action implies something bad to happen?

Didn't know between a digital piano (which I don't know how to play, but would be a fun toy to have around), or yet another guitar (which I also don't know how to play).

Turns out, as implied above, Mrs. Dog has the answer - a bit of landscaping in the back yard.
