Anybody Heard From Workknot ?
Duluth has gotten over 10 inches of rain. severe flooding in most parts of Duluth. the Zoo was flooded and they lost several animals. I know that Wayne lives outside of Duluth proper, but the main road going close to his home(Hwy 61) was closed this morning.

Thanks for your concern, we faired out very well at our house but others were not so fortunate. Lots of flood damage in and around Duluth, Two Harbors, Proctor, Superior and Carlton. There was 3 feet of water in some of the Mall area parking lots. Many roads washed out and a couple of small bridges. Looks like a lot of costly repairs ahead.
We got 9.9" of rain in about 20 hours.

I wouldn't worry too much about Wayne. He grew up in Crow Wing County and I'm pretty sure he "killed him a b'ar when he was three".

Wayne,
It's good to hear that you weren't hurt too bad. Our prayers are with those who are impacted by the floodwaters.

Glad you're above water level Pop's. Looks like lots of work ahead for the folks in Duluth to get back to normal.

glad to hear that you're ok, Wayne. having spent some time up that way, it's hard to imagine 3 foot of water up in the Mall area.

Count me in on those glad to hear you weathered the storm intact, Wayne.
Couldn’t resist the bad pun.
