Default Returning an acoustic to Thomann

Hey guys, i bought a Furch D40 from thomann.de last december and it basically had this strange 'bubbly' effect on the satin finish, which could only be seen when held and tilted in direct sun light. As you can imagine sitting down and playing the guitar, meant i could never see how bad it really was until i took it to my guitar tech and he told me that i should send it back to be replaced/fixed (have a 3 year guarantee)

So i've sent it back to Thomann, but just wondering what you guys think their verdict will be? Obviously after having it for 6 months theres a few marks from strumming etc. but there were three quite bad flaws on their behalf they missed before shipping to me: the bubbles, a mark from the gig bag zipper they sent it in and a smudged, uneven applied finish where my arm pit rests.

Any thoughts would settle my worrying mind!

Damn, your arm pit was stripping away the finish?

Haha after re-reading what I wrote, it does seem as though I have acidic arm-pit sweat!

Only other thing, the guitar I have they no longer stock (been discontinued) will they have to give me the one slightly higher up (£100 more) or will I have to chip in that money or get one at the same price but a different brand?

Thanks everyone!

Ross

was just sat on the loo and had a sudden epiphany... If they offer me store credit, (£520) I might sell my LR Baggs Para DI (£130ish) and save up £150 for a...

Martin D16GT (£800) I love my Furch acoustic, but I know as a sole acoustic guitar man, I will always have a constant desire at the back of my mind for a Martin!

What do you guys think?

Sitting on the loo for too long can aggravate hemorrhoids. :P
