G that lead is pure genius! I love the way he get a sound that is similar to a violin bow being scratched over the strings! The lead is short and raucous which plays so well against the plain piano and pounding straight drum beat!

It's things like that I love. It's not a bog long self indulgent solo.

I was going to post that. Well worth watching; I watched it live last night. I will probably watch it again now that it's not streaming and I won't have to worry about dropouts and video glitches/quality. He plays stuff from all his bands and from the new album. Great show!

The new album rocks by the way. It may have flown under the radar, but if you're a Raconteurs/Brendan Benson fan, Brendan came out with a new album this week too. Another must get.

I like him more and more. My son says, "He's the Neil Young of my generation." Not sure. But I sure do like him a lot.

i'm a huge fan of Jack White, and his history, have yet to check out his new stuff...i did listen to the link of the song in question, righteous. Anywho, i also watched that little get together White had with Jimmy Page and the EDGE(lol), hate U2, but what the heck. Cool documentary, "It might get loud" is what it's called...sorry if this is old news

That was a great film. I'm still abit on the fence with the new album. Not as raw as I would have expected. It's up on Spotify for those who want a listen.
