Thankyou Telespank. I think this one is a real looker & has potential. The lacquer has that lovely crackled 'dragon scale' thing going on, which I love.
It needs a good setting up & a little minor TLC, but its all straight & solid & even the electrics work too.
I can't really find out much about these from the usual google type searches, so if anyone has any info I'd be most happy. Thanks :-)

I love the crazed lacquer thing too. I was wondering about the letter/numbers on the tail piece. Could that be a model number?

Correct indeed they are! The model number is BL 15 the BL stands for Bill Lorento (later Bill Lawrence the pickup designer- I think??) according to the framus website.
The label inside has a is handsigned by 'Miller' or 'Muller' & confirms the model number & production as made in Germany as Oct 1968.

I had a Hofner club 60 once that had exactly the same fret board/inlay design, but I don't think that means much.
