Who Dat Say Who Dat . . .
"Who Dat say Who Dat when I say Who Dat ?"
well, with the Super Bowl tomorrow, how many are going to be watching it ? I've been waiting for 43 years to watch the New Orleans Saints play in the Super Bowl. they may win. they may lose. but regardless of the outcome, the Saints are still playing in the Super Bowl. it should be a very good match up. as we say in "dear ole Luzianne", "let the good times roll".

Half a Who's playing...
I'll be glued to the tube, Sarge. Pulling for New Orleans, as well. I've always been a fan and have always had a soft spot for underdogs, never beens and folks who've had their tail kicked mercessly for no good reason.
Always been a Peyton fan too, though.
Have a prediction?

I'm more of Futbol (soccer) fan than American football (when exactly do they put the emphasis on the foot again...) I find it odd that it's such a 'manly' sport played by dudes in tight shiny pants who like to fall on each other in a sweaty heap...
I'm just sayin...

I just saw a news report that the NFL is keeping companies from selling WHO DAT shirts. But the idiots making the shirts used the Saints logo.
Whata buncha jackweeds.
They whine that the NFL is a bully, but they steal artwork.
For this reason alone I hope the SAINTS get their butts kicked.

Not in South Louisiana!
The Advocate predicts a Saints win, 34-28.

I'm not a sports fan so I won't be watching. Other than the occasional Chicago Cubs baseball game, or a good billiard game on ESPN, I never watch sporting events.

Same here. I've watched a handful of Superbowls, usually if Denver or the Vikings were involved, but that's about it for my football interest. I used to watch NASCAR until it became a bunch of save-butts playing it safe and running for points instead of going all-out to win races. I probably haven't watch a NASCAR race in 10 years and I doubt that I ever will again. The only other sport that I ever liked was horse racing, I used to watch the triple crown faithfully.

Then it's time for you to come back to NASCAR, Mark.
The officials have determined that it's best to let the drivers decide things like bump drafting - which resulted in a very aggressive race yesterday. None of the wrecks were directly caused by the use of excessive bumper force, but the proximity of a front bumper to rear bumper at 200mph caused a few cars to lift up, lose traction - and set the sparks flying.

I suppose you don't like the way we spell sneaux either. it's a Cajun spelling technique that's used in the Bayou State.
so, Mark, since you're originally from Minnesota and it was part of the Louisiana Purchase, you're from north Louisiana.

From the Urban Dictionary
1. jack weed
Always doing everything "half assed". Sometimes used in a loving combination such as, "Jack Weed, Chicken Choker"
Jerry's such a Jack Weed, I bet he jerks off, looking at pictures of his sister. Whatta, Jack weed-Chickchoker.
It appears to be two words rather than one word. According to the definition JeffO has been misspelling this word. Wow, what a Jack Weed!

Superbowl Sunday is the biggest wife-beating day of the year.
The majority of beatings perpetrated by guys whose favored team WINS.
Television was seriously interfering with my ability to be benevolent toward my fellow man, so I had the cable stopped.

JeffO, you should have your wife call me so that I may discuss with her the historical significance of preserving a 1962 Corvette not only for automotive history but for geneological reference as one day one of your kids will love to inherit a car made the same year as their daddy. I've got your back on this one!

I gave up on TV in '07, about the time the political turmoil started in anticipation of the upcoming election. I just wasn't about to spend $57 per month to be lied to by pros. I haven't missed it since and would rather hang onto the money.

Giving up TV is incredible, isn't it?
The most amazing thing for me was realizing how much TV depends on dragging you down to its level.
If you don't view for a few months, when you see it again it's "Holy crap! I can't believe I used to watch this!"

When I was a wise old man of 22 I got an apartment in Minneapolis and had an old B&W portable TV. It gave up the ghost a few months after I moved away from my parents and at first I was all but panicked, a week later I didn't miss it a bit and haven't since. I have a 32" flat screen TV but it's used only to play DVDs. I tried Sat-TV for a while but concluded that the few programs I watched didn't merit the cost of the service.

I haven't been much of a TV watcher for quite a few years. The only show that gets my attention is NCIS and that's because of Mark Harmon is on that show. So, I watch that show every Tuesday, without fail so I can see Mark Harmon. That's the only show I watch, because of Mark Harmon. On account of I like Mark Harmon. And Mark Harmon is on that show, NCIS, so I watch that one every Tuesday. I respect his acting talent for sure. And I think Mark Harmon is really cute!
