Attaching an image
How do I attach an image that's on my computer (not online - not a http...) - It's so simple with avatars to take right from your own files, but how do you attach here?

Click on the Paper Clip Icon -- a box will open up (pop ups must be allowed). You select your file from your computer -- size restrictions must be met -- and you click Upload.
There is no Attachment Paper Clip Icon in the Quick Reply Message box. You must either use Post Thread, Post Reply or Go Advanced from the Quick Reply form to get to the full-sized Message box to see the Paper Clip Icon.

Since you are new to forums... hover your mouse arrow over each of the icons in the message box and you'll see a description of what each does.

I have trouble uploading images here too. I do as it says in one or the earlier posts, but when I try to upload an image it fails.

That will happen, time to time if the image is too big (not just pixel size, but MB size)

i usually find anything over a 3mp image, or 90kb can be difficult to upload on some forums.

The failure you're talking about is due to your photo being WAY too large.
Your digital camera, even on your phone, is capable of creating a huge file. You must edit them to less than 1000 px by 1000 px and less than 95,000 bytes EACH.

No, you simple need to edit the photo in a photo editor. No doubt your camera came with one and there are plenty available on the internet. If you have a photobucket account I believe you can upload your photos there and the site will reduce them in size for you.
